Celebrity Big Brother aired its first eviction of the series on Friday, with the public choosing between Mickey Rourke, Michael Fabricant and Jack P Shepherd.
Fabricant, 74, ended up being the first to leave, much to his disappointment. However, many on social media were just as unhappy as they slammed the "wrong decision".
Former Conservative MP Fabricant admitted he was "very sad" to have been evicted after receiving seven nominations from his fellow housemates and the least public votes.
"I'm very said to say goodbye to all my friends. They were lovely people," Fabricant told hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
While Fabricant did receive the least public votes to be saved, many believed either Coronation Street star Shepherd or US actor Rourke should have been eliminated.
Taking to X, one penned: "Wrong decision!!! ..How the hell has Jack not gone first! He brings nothing to the house!! #CBBUK."
"Such a shame because I was actually warming to Michael and he genuinely seemed worried about being evicted. How everyone is voting to keep that creep Mickey in baffles me? Especially after what happend with AJ and his homophobic comments towards JoJo #CBBUK," a second penned.
A third admitted: "Gutted with that eviction. Out of three nominated, that was the one person who wanted to stay the most. Sad to see him go. #CBBUK."

"Michael should still be in the house, Jack is booooring. #CBBUK #BBUK #CBBLive #CBBLL #cbb," another echoed.
A different viewer added: "Fixed. They’ve paid Mickey £500k and need to get their moneys worth!"
However, others were glad the controversial Rourke had been saved, with one sharing: "Anyone saying it should’ve been Mickey are enemies of entertainment #cbbuk." (sic)
The fix row comes after floods of complaints on social media and beyond have been made this week over Rourke, 72.
He made quite the entrance on Monday, appearing bewildered as to what was going on before glaring at Odudu, who had to tell him to "stop looking at me".
On Wednesday, JoJo Siwa, 21, accused him of making homophonic comments, and later that day he offended Donna Preston while making remarks about her weight.
On Friday, Rourke made Patsy Palmer cry after constantly telling her she "couldn't cook" because he didn't enjoy the food she'd served up for him earlier in the week.
Mickey Rourke's comments have left Celebrity Big Brother viewers 'disgusted'
ITVThe actor faced a huge backlash for his interaction with Siwa, which started when he asked about her love life, where she revealed she "liked girls".
Rourke went on to tell the singer he would "tie you up," before commenting she'd no longer "be gay" after a few days.
Chatting about the eviction, he then went on to say he would "vote out the lesbian".
After Siwa said he was being homophobic, Rourke went on to remark: "I need a f**."
Gesturing towards Siwa, he added: "I'm not talking to you," prompting Chris Hughes, 32, to point out: "Mickey, you can't say that."
