ITV 1% Club host Lee Mack was left stunned and congratulated one contestant early on in the show after he made a bold statement about his job.
During the episode, Mack often likes to learn a little bit about the contestants as the show progresses and speaks to Paul Jarvis, whose unique occupation caught everyone's attention.
Jarvis revealed he works as a "penguin tipper" at a zoo located near a major airport and left Mack visibly surprised when announcing the unusual role.
Mack was so shocked about the revelation, he asked Jarvis if he was "taking the bean" about his profession.
Viewers at home were equally perplexed, with many wondering if such a job could possibly be real, leaving the contestant to explain the peculiar nature of his role at the zoo.
"Our zoo is right next to a major airport and when the planes are coming in or going out the penguins get transfixed by them.

"They stand on their feet, lean back and fall over. When they fall on ice it hits hard so it's our job to tip them back up,” he said.
Mack responded still just as stunned: "You're telling me you have a paid job to pick up penguins that have been staring at aeroplanes and fallen backwards."
Paul confirmed the position was authentic and explained its history, leaving Mack to conclude: “Okay, that's the most unusual job we've ever had on the show. Congratulations - that's some achievement."
Elsewhere in the show, things took a dramatic turn when an "easy" 80% question eliminated a staggering 17 contestants from the competition.
Steve was the only contestant to make it to the 1% question

The question that caused such devastation asked the contestants: "Which statement below is correct."
The options read: “A. Two words in this sentence have two letters. B. Three words in this sentence have three letters. Or C. Four words in this sentence have four letters."
During the players' deliberation, Lee admitted: "I don't think everyone has got this,” to which his prediction was proved correct as 17 players were eliminated after answering incorrectly – with option C being the correct answer.
After the dramatic elimination, Mack returned to the game to reveal the prize pot had increased by a whopping £17,000 due to the 17 contestants being knocked out.
Only one contestant named Steve managed to reach the final 1 per cent question later in the show.
Steve risked his £10,000 winnings for a chance at the £100,000 jackpot but unfortunately got the answer wrong.
