A celebrity doctor hasn't held back in her response to the singer's remarks

Celebrity NHS doctor Renée Hoenderkamp has labelled Bambie Thug a "rude, entitled, spoilt brat" in a brutal take-down of the Irish Eurovision entry.

It comes after the 31-year-old non-binary artist launched a furious rant aimed at Eurovision organisers EBU [Eurovision Broadcasting Union] following Saturday's grand final.

Sharing a clip on her X account of the Bambie Thug's comments, Honderkamp ignored the singer's preferred pronouns and fumed: "She says 'the queers are coming'... she's a woman with a boyfriend... so just a heterosexual woman. So not 'queer' .... just a rude, entitled, spoilt brat!"

In the post-Eurovision interview, the singer can be heard stating: "F*** the EBU. I don’t even care anymore.

"F*** them. The thing that makes this is the contestants, the community behind it, the love and the power and the support of all of us is what is making change," they continued.

The Cork-born artist concluded: "The world has spoken. The queers are coming. Non-binaries for the f***ing win."

Many responded to Honderkamp's tweet to agree with her stance on the singer.

"Probably surrounded by people who told her she was special and never said no to anything she wanted," one fumed.

Another commented: "This is what happens when a generation aren’t told no and are incapable of tolerating different views. Throw in narcissism and this lady epitomises this culture."

A third added: "About sums it up doc," while another shared: "Good wholesome family entertainment!....... NOT!!"

"The BBC shouldn't be giving airtime to the putrid cr*p some of the acts 'performed,'" another argued.

However, some jumped to Bambie Thug's defence, with one writing: "She's got a boyfriend, so can't be queer?! Jesus Christ, you sound like my grandmother."

"You obviously missed the class in medical school about 'tolerance', 'diversity', and 'respect'.....But you could just try to be a nice 'NHS Doctor'," someone else penned.

While UK act Olly Alexander suffered a huge blow by receiving zero points from the public vote, Bambie Thug came sixth overall in the competition.

They had faced some criticism ahead of the final for their pro-Palestine comments.

Throughout the week leading up to the final, Eurovision host city Malmo in Sweden was flooded with protesters demonstrating against Israel's participation in the competition.

It comes as many have condemned the country's continued military campaign in Gaza.
