The GB News presenter was overcome with joy to hear such touching words

Nigel Farage was showered with love from his fellow campmates on tonight's episode of ITV's I'm a Celeb, with the GB News presenter saying he is “touched” by their kind comments.

Farage was tidying up around the camp when Josie Gibson praised his handy work.

“This camp looks better already!” she exclaimed.

He replied: “Doesn’t it just. It was just so scruffy.”

After announcing he would be taking a nap, tired after his hard work, Danielle went out of her way to find a cosy spot for Farage to rest in: “I’ll make you a nice little spot”, she told him.

The former politician was evidently touched by the kind words and actions of his fellow celebs.

Sitting in the bus together, he told Danielle Harold: “I really can’t believe how nice this whole camp is being to me. People are quite protective of me, you know. I’m quite sort of… I’m very touched by it.”

Danielle replied: “Aw, we love ya, want to make sure you’re all alright.”

‌The EastEnders star later professed her surprise over her close friendship with Farage: “I never in a million years thought I’d have a friendship like this with Nigel, ever. Ever. We’re like, complete opposite in our views.”

Farage’s praises have been sung by other campmates in the camp.

Upon her exit, Nella Rose discussed her friendship with the GB News presenter, admitting that they got on a “lot”.

She said: “I think Nigel is a great person.”

Rose continued: "Until he speaks about what he really believes in, and I just think, ‘you’re a cool guy but why do you think like that?’ It’s a sticky one.”

Farage has also been impressing his fellow stars with his performance skills, after he bared his chest and sang a raunchy number during yesterday’s show.

After completing all three missions they were tasked with, the celebs were invited to go the Jungle Arms Pub to celebrate.

At the pub, the campmates drank pints, ate pub food, and even engaged in a spot of karaoke.

The GB News presenter wowed his fellow celebrities by performing a rendition of Right Said Fred’s I’m Too Sexy.

Farage added to the performance by ripping open his shirt during his take on the 1991 hit, much to the excitement of his campmates.

After he had finished, he joked: “Follow that!”

Former professional boxer Tony Bellew exclaimed: “Nigel, well done!”

Farage even got the approval from boyband member Marvin Humes, who said: “That is brilliant.”
