Loose Women star and former I'm A Celebrity campmate Linda Robson has urged I'm A Celebrity viewers to give Nella Rose "a break" following the backlash she received during her time in the jungle.
Rose, a 26-year-old YouTuber, became the second celebrity eliminated from the ITV competition earlier this week after locking horns with the likes of Fred Siriex and Nigel Farage in the camp.
Siriex was the first star to find himself on the receiving end of Rose's wrath in what's now been dubbed 'Dadgate' by I'm A Celeb fans.
And Farage clashed with Rose a number of times thanks to debates about immigration and a tense cultural appropriation discussion.
Rose herself has addressed the furore surrounding her stint, branding it as "social media bulls**t" in an Instagram clip following her exit.
Now, Robson has jumped to Rose's defence, insisting the backlash isn't warranted for her antics in the jungle.
Speaking to GB News on behalf of altindex.com, Robson said: "She's a young girl, she's away from her family, she's with people she'd never met before, she's hungry, she's tired... you know, give her a break!
"I thought the first night she went in she was hilarious and then you just get hungrier and more tired.
"The days are long, they're boring, and unless you've got a trial to do it's just sitting around all day,
"You stink of smoke, you're hungry, you're hangry," Robson went on before insisting Rose and her campmates still managed to "come across really, really well".

When asked if she feels the backlash Rose received was down to how she was portrayed in the ITV editing room, Robson wasn't convinced.
"I don't think they set out to do that on I'm A Celebrity," Robson said. "It's not like Big Brother where you have to be really careful what you're saying 24 hours a day.
"I don't think on I'm A Celeb they set out to ruin anyone's career or whatever. I think most of it is quite light-hearted."
It isn't just Rose who impressed Robson during their time in the jungle as the Loose Women star admitted she's been "surprised" by GB News's own Farage.

When asked about Farage's jungle stint, Robson admitted: "I am surprised he's still in there, I just didn't think he would last that long and he's come across well, he's done every trial he's been asked to do.
"You know, he can be a bit grumpy sometimes, but he's come across alright."
However, Robson thinks the accolade of King of the Jungle may be out of Farage's reach as she outlined who she thinks will bag the crown.
"I think definitely Sam or Tony or Josie. They're my three favorites now," Robson said. "Although it's been hard because they've all been lovely!"
