Bev Turner mocked Holly Willoughby’s statement addressing the Phillip Schofield controversy.
The This Morning host returned to UK screens this morning after taking a holiday at the same time the revelations came out about Schofield’s affair with a younger colleague.
Schofield admitted he lied to Willoughby and ITV bosses about the affair.
Willoughby said she was "shaken, troubled, let down, worried for the wellbeing of people on all sides of what’s been going on, and full of questions”.
Reacting to the statement, Turner said: “Look, this is a TV presenter who's left his job because he had a consensual relationship with somebody that everybody else is disapproving of… nobody's died here, there's no war!”
To The Point is live, Monday to Thursday from 9:30am, only on GB News.
