Holly Valance 'deeply sad' as she issues tribute to Neighbours co-star Janet Adrewartha after her death

Former Neighbours star Holly Valance has paid tribute to Janet Andrewartha after news broke on Sunday that she'd died aged 72.
The official social media accounts of the Aussie soap confirmed the sad news and tributes have flooded in from fans, co-stars and friends ever since.
Valance, 41, played the role of Felicity Scully during her tenure on the soap - the daughter of Andrewartha's Lyn.
Over the course of two decades, the pair shared many a scene together despite respective hiatuses.
Valance shared a heartwarming photo alongside Andrewartha on Sunday afternoon as she paid her respects to her on-screen mother.
"Deeply sad losing Janet Andrewartha," Valance began. "She was a superb human being who taught me so much from the age of 15.
"I'll treasure her last trip to the UK forever. Precious memories I'm so grateful for. A beautiful, talented, hilarious & kind woman.
"I'm so glad it was you who played my Mum. You were the real deal. Made us feel safe.
"And looked after us when we were all so young in the industry. It was an honour to work beside you and call you a friend. X," Valance signed off.
Valance's tribute was met with widespread praise and condolences from her followers, including one fan who penned in response: "Lovely tribute there Holly. Janet Anderwartha was wonderful as Lyn Scully & she will always be remembered fondly."

The Neighbours Instagram account broke the news on Sunday morning with a post that included the caption: "Everyone at Neighbours is deeply saddened by the passing of Janet Andrewartha.
"Beloved by viewers for her role as Ramsay Street’s Lyn Scully, Janet will be remembered for her wide body of work, which includes her memorable turn as Reb Keane in Prisoner: Cell Block H.
"Janet had many friendships at Neighbours and one of her most enduring bonds was with Jackie Woodburne."
Woodburne then penned in her own tribute: "Janet was one of the finest actors of her generation, but more than that, she was an extraordinary woman.
"Passionate, political, curious, delightfully eccentric, generous and fun. To me she was a steadfast friend for over 45 years. I will miss her every day."
Other Neighbours stars took to the comments of the post to pay their respects too, including Stefan Dennis, known for playing mean businessman Paul Robinson.
