Helen Skelton has faced fresh heartache as it has been reported her ex-husband Richie Myler is expecting to become a dad for the second time with girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill.
Skelton and Myler’s relationship broke down in April 2022, just four months after she gave birth to their daughter Elsie.
The rugby star began dating Thirkill not long after he and Skelton split, with their daughter Olivia being born in April 2023.
Thirkill is the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill, the rugby club Myler played for from 2017 until last year.
Skelton keeps her private life out of the spotlight now but a source recently revealed that she had been “dipping her toe” back into the dating pool.
However, it has recently been reported that Thirkill is "seven months pregnant" which has left Skelton taken back.
Helen and Richie were married for 10 years and have three children together
According to The Sun, a source said: “Helen found the news of Richie and Stephanie’s first child painful so this will be difficult.
“She is moving on as best she can and is focused on being a parent to their children,” they added with the parents-to-be said to be happier than ever.
A friend of Myler and Thirkill also told The Sun: “Richie and Stephanie are over the moon about adding to their family.
“It’s been a wonderful year for them with their daughter Olivia celebrating her first birthday. They couldn’t be happier."
GB News has contacted Myler's representative for a comment.

The Countryfile star recently opened up about the split from her husband of 10 years and admitted she was stunned when he walked out on their family.
Writing in her new book, In My Stride, she said: “I was in shock. I know that following break-ups, people often say they didn’t see it coming and it sounds like a cliché, but that was me.”
Following on from their split, Skelton starred on Strictly Come Dancing which she said helped her build back her confidence.
Speaking about her experience, she said: “I think everybody at some point needs a little reminder of, ‘Actually, you're really good at this, here's your invisible crown, pop it on’.
