The Malone family has been inundated with messages of condolences after they confirmed their pet dog Dave has died.
Dave the Rottweiler would regularly appear on the Channel 4 show with the family and became a fan-favourite with dog lovers everywhere.
Alongside one of the final videos of Dave, mum Julie shared the heartbreaking news with a tribute on Instagram.
She penned: "RIP Dave xxx There are no words to describe you or how much you meant to us.
"This was you on Sunday waiting for your Dad to come back and he had only gone out to the car x.
"We are all going to miss you so much," the Gogglebox star signed off before being flooded with support from fans and co-stars.
Fellow Gogglebox favourite Izzi Warner wrote in response: "Awww rest in peace Dave, sending you all lots of love xx," followed by heartbroken emoji.
While another follower weighed in: "Oh no so sorry for all the family and he will be missed attacking Tom and barking at the animal programmes xx RIP Dave the legend xx."
Elsewhere, another Gogglebox fan shared their condolences: "I'm so sorry for your families loss. I'm going to miss seeing him on gogglebox. RIP DAVE."
A third echoed: "Sorry to hear that Dave was a great dog the amount of times he used to hit Tom accidentally made me laugh so much xx."
And a fourth commented: "How sad - loved watching out for him on GoggleBox." (sic)
The Malones joined the cast of Gogglebox back in 2014 and are made up of mum Julie, dad Tom Senior, sons Shaun and Tom Jr, and daughter Vanessa.
Dave provided many a memorable moment alongside his family, from attacking the family's helium machine to leaping on dad Tom Sr when he wore a dog mask.
The Channel 4 staple is still going strong on the channel but has seen a major shake-up to its cast in recent months after long-serving star Stephen Webb and his partner Daniel quit the show.

Dave would often appear with the Malone family on Gogglebox

Webb had been a regular contributor to the show for a decade, joining as one of the original cast members.
However, since his departure from Gogglebox, he's been unveiled as a contestant on ITV's Dancing on Ice alongside the likes of Ricky Hatton and Claire Sweeney.
Webb will undoubtedly be hoping to impress on the ice but ITV has faced criticism for its line-up before any of the stars have even taken to the rink with some branding it the "worst" line-up ever.
