Glastonbury fans were left furious this morning as Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA were announced as the headliners for this year's festival.
Country star Shania Twain will be filling the coveted Sunday legends slot, whilst the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz, 80s pop icon Cyndi Lauper, Keane, Burna Boy, PJ Harvey, Paloma Faith and Disclosure are also set to perform.
The announcement was made on the festival's official X account, posting an image of the 2024 line-up and penned: “Here is the first Glastonbury Festival 2024 line-up poster. Many more acts and attractions are still to be announced.
“Tickets for this year’s Festival are sold out, but our prize draw for 20 pairs is raising emergency funds to support people affected by conflict.
“Thinking about what to wear already and tell me, what should we sing together?! Let’s make history with this ultimate dream performance!! @glastonbury.”
Festivalgoers have been waiting months for the 2024 line-up - the longest time in 17 years - with the event selling out within an hour after tickets went on sale in November.

Many fans counted on the announcement to be spectacular after being made to wait so long, but they quickly took to their X accounts to express their disappointment.
“This may be the worst line up the festival has ever had!” one fumed before another quoted Twain: “That don’t impressa me much.”
Disappointed with the announcement, another penned: "Tenth year and by far the worst line up. No wonder there were no leaks.”
“Lord. That is a bit tame compared to the rumours,” another noted before a fifth slammed: “That is such a bad lineup. Worst of all time? Genuinely tempted to resell my ticket.”

“Oh no! Going for the first ever time this year… wanted to go for years… But this is a bit disappointing,” one saddened ticket holder said.
Not all were left annoyed by the announcement as one excited fan wrote: “As always an eclectic mix of bands I love, new and old and plenty I’ve barely heard of and simply cannot wait to be on the farm again amongst amazing people experiencing both.”
Another simply exclaimed: “SHANIA TWAIN! Cowboy boots and hat here I come!”
Twain herself was thrilled to be asked to perform at the legendary festival, and wrote on her X account: “The legends slot at GLASTONBURY 2024 - Another jewel in my crown!!

Before the line-up was revealed, rumours were swirling that Stevie Wonder was expected to take to the stage.
Before the Superstition hitmaker – who headlined in 2010 – was rumoured to be in talks, Madonna, Coldplay and Dua Lipa, were the names attached to headlining this year’s festival.
Talks with the Material Girl hitmaker were said to have broken down after organisers refused to pay the huge fee to bring her Celebration live show to Glastonbury.
