The 33-year-old continues to face claims made against him, which he has denied
Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice has seemingly been faced with more drama to contend with as a colleague "quit" a project they had been working on together.
The 33-year-old dancer continues to face claims after Amanda Abbington accused him of "militant" behaviour during her stint on the BBC competition last year.
Pernice has always denied the claims made against him, which were backed by other former Strictly partners such as Laura Whitemore.
The scandal has rocked the annual programme, with the BBC now investigating the scandal.
Now, it seems the Italian is facing more controversy after his colleague posted a cryptic message on social media.
Pernice ran Ballando classes along with Pasquale La Rocca, a professional on Belgium's edition of Strictly Come Dancing.
Pasquale, 34, has revealed he's been forced to walk away from their project thanks to "circumstances out of his control."
The Sun reports the dancer announced on Instagram: "Over the last few days I have received a lot of DMs and messages from you in regards to my dance classes.
"I thought I should clear the air and give you an update on what's happening from my side.
"Circumstances out of my control have brought my Ballando dance classes journey to an end. I don't wish to linger on this, but to move forward."
Pernice is still running the classes and has recently shared posts about Ballando.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Pernice shared a post from Ballando UK announcing he and Strictly co-star Kai Widdrington would be starring in a show.
A countdown on the post revealed it would launch in just 21 days and would feature the two well-known dancers.
It read: "Giovanni Pernice and Kai Widdrington - London" along with the dates of the show.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Abbington made claims about Pernice's behaviour on the show
BBC
The claims against Pernice began last October after Abbington decided to drop out of the show before revealing the experience had left her with PTSD.
Others reportedly "joined forces" with the actress with their own experiences with Pernice, who has strongly denied the claims.
He announced he is "confident he will clear his name" in a lengthy statement.
GB News has approached a spokesperson for Pernice for a comment.
