Giovanni Pernice has been dealt another blow as reports claim his BBC travel show has been "axed" following recent alleged controversies.
The Strictly Come Dancing star is thought to have left the show after allegations about his behaviour towards his celebrity partners continued to dominate headlines following his stint on last year's show.
While he broke his silence on the issue last week, Pernice hasn't since mentioned the media storm he remains at the centre of.
In what will definitely come as a fresh blow to the 33-year-old, it is now believed the BBC has cancelled Pernice's travel show, which he stars in alongside Strictly judge Anton Du Beke.
Speaking to the Daily Star, a BBC insider said: "Anton and Giovanni’s Adventures In… was a big success, but execs have decided to ditch it."
Claims that Pernice has been "abusive" behind the scenes of Strictly began last year when his 2023 dance partner Amanda Abbington quit the show following reports of a "feud" with him.

According to the publication, the insider continued: "Execs aren't planning to do any more projects with Giovanni."
They went on to claim the broadcaster don't want continue with any shows "dogged by scandal".
The broadcaster has launched an investigation into the Italian dancer's behaviour, and in his own statement, Pernice denied the allegations, which are thought to have been made by at least three former dance partners.
"To my dear fans, you will be as surprised as I am that allegations have been made about my dance teaching methods in the media this week," he began in a post on his Instagram.

"Those who have followed my journey on Strictly Come Dancing over the last decade will know that I am passionate and competitive. No one is more ambitious for my dance partners than me.
"I have always striven to help them be the very best dancer they can be. This has always come from a place of love and wanting to win - for me and my dance partners."
Another recent blow Pernice has suffered came when professional dancer Korina Travis claimed Pernice had done "horrendous" things to her.
