Gino D’Acampo has opened up in the “single life” he lives when working away from his wife Jessica Morrison – admitting to spending time with other females.
D’Acampo and Morrison met when the celebrity chef was just 17-years-old and working at Sylvester Stallone’s Mambo King restaurant in Marbella where Morrison was a waitress.
The pair tied the knot in 2002 and have gone on to have three children, Luciano, 21, Rocco, 19, and Mia, 11.
D’Acampo recently revealed the secret to the longevity of their relationship and admitted it was down to the pair having time away from one another.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, D’Acampo explained: “You need to balance your married life with your ‘single life’.
“I can be away for a month and I will talk to my wife once a week for about 20 minutes. Then, when I come back, we can talk about it.”

The 47-year-old refuted the idea that the time apart meant he was more likely to cheat, adding that he doesn’t understand what some of his friends talk to their wives about all day.
Discussing his solo holidays, he said: “It's just dinner with another human being. Do you think that if I wanted to be unfaithful to my wife, I’d need to organise a holiday?
“I can do it anytime and anywhere. So once you get that out of your head, going on holiday alone doesn’t matter.
“You know, people can't get their heads around it and will say, 'Oh, my boyfriend is going out for dinner with another woman.' First of all, we are all equal. What's the difference?"

The couple believe that not talking too much on the phone when they're apart is what keeps their love alive, with Gino adding it's "all about trust".
D’Acampo has always been open about his marriage and previously revealed his first thoughts when meeting Morrison for the first time.
“When I met my wife, I never had any experience with any other women because I was only 17. She had amazing blonde hair and huge… personality.
“And after a few weeks she showed me something I had never had before. So I got there and basically all I was thinking was ‘Am I going to get laid?’

“Am I allowed to say that? Or I’ll say make love, is that better? But anyway, yeah she invited me over and cooked for me,” he joked in 2022 during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.
The TV star also added that he was done having children, admitting that he didn’t want to divide his time any more than he already does with his three kids and wife.
