Gino D'Acampo is reportedly furious after being embroiled in a misconduct scandal following ITV complaints, which go back more than 12 years.
ITV recently issued a full response after celebrity chef D'Acampo, 48, was accused of "unacceptable and distressing" behaviour.
The response from the channel came after an ITV News investigation allegedly uncovered numerous allegations of inappropriate and intimidating behaviour by the Italian TV personality.
The TV chef, who has worked for ITV for 15 years, is now under investigation following the claims, which he told ITV that he "firmly denied", adding they were "deeply upsetting".
Now, it has emerged the former This Morning star blames ITV as well as former Gordon, Gino and Fred [Sirieix]: Road Trip co-star, Gordon Ramsey, for the situation he's in.
An insider has suggested Ramsay's sudden departure from their series was too coincidentally close to D'Acampo's investigation.
They commented: "There has been a lot coming out about his time with Gordon Ramsay and it is very anti-Gino."
Speaking to MailOnline, the source continued: "One minute they are working together and the best of friends. Then he leaves the Road Trip series and he is basically finished within a couple of years."
Another person argued that ITV had encouraged the presenter's jokey persona and that he was "told to behave as he did".
"He will be making that clear when he thinks it's time to speak out," they concluded.
GB News has reached out to ITV as well as Ramsay and D'Acampo's representation for a comment on the reports.
Another insider told the publication: "He [Gino] feels pretty hard done by. You have to wonder, ITV surely profited from all of this and now they are running away from it by getting rid of him.
Gino D'Acampo is reportedly furious with Gordon Ramsay
PA"It appears to be a typical case of ITV realising that they wanted him to be a certain way – and then it blew up in their faces."
Last weekend, Ramsay broke his silence on social media for the first time since the claims against his former co-star came to light.
Ramsay was absent from D'Acampo and Sirieix’s latest series ITV travel series, Emission Impossible.
In the time since ITV News published the allegations against D'Acampo, Ramsay has avoided commenting on claims.
However, he did make a comeback to Instagram to deliver a sweet message to another fellow chef.
Ramsay posted a picture on his story alongside chef Chris Bianco, his staff and a huge stone pizza oven.
“Great seeing you @pizzeriabianco at your original spot! Amazing pizza GX,” he captioned the post.
A source also claimed earlier this week that Ramsay had made it clear he'd had issues with D'Acampo's behaviour, telling MailOnline: "Gordon was horrified with what had gone on and felt it was time to step in and stop it.
"He has three daughters and a wife, Tana, who he absolutely adores and felt it was disgusting. He wanted to change those ways but then it led to difficulties between them."
