The TV chef has been accused of inappropriate behaviour which has spanned over 12 years

Gino D’Acampo has broken his cover and posted on social media seemingly ignoring the ongoing claims about his inappropriate behaviour.

ITV News released an investigation into the TV chef's behaviour over the years towards females with which he had worked.

Whilst it has been claimed more women have come forward with new allegations, D’Acampo has firmly denied the claims.

Denying the allegations he told ITV News: "I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over 10 years ago.

"I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone.

"This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.

"Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately.

"I am a father, and husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of. I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting."

Since the claims, ITV has stood firm and revealed they have no plans to work with D’Acampo ever again and even pulled all his ITV shows off their schedule.

However, it seems that D’Acampo is holding firm and keeping a strong head as he broke his social media silence today and ignored the allegations.

Posting a video of his day at Asda and meeting adoring fans, he captioned the post: "Always fantastic to meet my fans, you guys are just awesome. Thank you ASDA for having us…"

Fans were quick to rally around the star, as one commented: "And we’ll done Asda for not jumping on the cancel culture bus."

Someone else added: "You've never changed, the world has, not all for good, unfortunately. Keep laughing and making others laugh too."

"Stay strong Gino you have a lovely family and heaps of fans behind you," a third added before another penned: "Love you, Gino.

"They hired you for your wonderful humour now yourhave been punished for your wonderful humour. Unbelievable! The world has gone mad."

Another supportive fan said: "Stay strong Gino what is the world coming to. We all love you."

Gordon Ramsay also broke his silence on Instagram, but it was to share a sweet message to another fellow chef - Chris Bianco.

Praising his pizzeria, he said: "Chris' pizzeria — they say it's the best in America and one of the best pizzas in the world, and I can absolutely vouch for that.

"It was brilliant. He was there, had a good catch-up with him. I loved his story on Netflix on 'Chef's Table.' He is the real deal."

Fred Sirieix also boasted on Instagram about a separate project and said: "My brand new @howdensjoinery kitchen. I'm loving the cosy farmhouse feel inspired by a picture of my lovely grandparents.

He penned: "I wanted this kitchen to feel traditional in style, functional in its design, and practical for everyday use with Lamona appliances bringing it all together.

"It's now a space in my home filled with memories, both old and new. What do you think?" (sic)
