The star has openly spoken about her fertility issues and how she longs for a child of her own

TOWIE star Gemma Collins has made an emotional plea to mothers during half-term, urging them to cherish precious moments with their children.

The reality TV star, 44, shared a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday alongside her step-son Tristan during their seaside visit.

The pair were pictured beaming at a restaurant overlooking the ocean as Collins opened up about her own journey with fertility struggles and the joys of step-motherhood.

In her Instagram message, Collins wrote: "Beautiful half-term happiness it's really not difficult to love a child unconditionally."

She continued: "I'm loving this phase of my life having time to be the best version of me embrace your children this half term don't moan enjoy it remember there's always someone who doesn't have what you got let children be children."

The post was shared alongside fiancé Rami Hawash, as the couple spent quality time with seven-year-old Tristan at the coast.

Collins has formed a special bond with Tristan as his stepmother, describing this phase of her life as one that has allowed her to become "the best version" of herself.

The TOWIE icon is engaged to businessman Rami Hawash, with the couple planning three separate wedding ceremonies - including a main UK celebration, an overseas event, and an intimate gathering for close family and friends.

Their relationship milestone comes as Collins continues to embrace her role in Tristan's life, sharing their half-term adventures on social media.

Collins has been open about her fertility struggles, having experienced several miscarriages and being advised to terminate a pregnancy of an intersex baby.

The TV personality has a low number of AMH hormones, limiting her available eggs, and suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) which affects her ovaries.

She and Rami have considered surrogacy as an option to start their family, while Collins has also expressed interest in fostering, inspired by her mother's own experience of being fostered as a child.

Fans quickly responded to Collins' touching message with words of support and understanding.

"Such beautiful sentiments. I miss having a small one they are so magical," wrote one follower.

Another commented: "I miss half terms and school holiday it's my two now that they are all grown up... absolutely cherish those times whilst they're little."

"You're a great stepmum. I can tell he brings you so much joy. If you ever considered foster care in the future you'd be amazing," added another supporter.
