Breakfast host Eamonn Holmes had teased the renovated set on Sunday evening

Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster had some very welcome news to share with Breakfast viewers on Monday morning.

The pair had taken their seats behind the table of a brand-new renovated GB News studio, breathing new life into Breakfast.

With a striking new background and show-stopping table-and-chair design, Eamonn and Isabel teased at the top of Monday's show: "Same show, different look - hope you like it!"

Plaudits have been flooding in from the People's Channels viewers all morning but the compliments even started before Eamonn and Isabel took their seats on Monday.

Eamonn had taken to Instagram on Sunday night with a sneak peek at the new-look design.

Sat in his spot behind the desk, Eamonn beamed: "Well here we are, it is Sunday and I am at work.

"But you may look at this and go, 'He's not at work, where is he, this looks different?' We have had a set redesign.

"Quite similar but very different for us, very different in terms of the lighting, very different in terms of the height of the desk...

"The curvature of the desk! It used to be straight and now it's quite curvy. And I'm going to sit on a different side of the table.

"I'll be here and Isabel will be there and hopefully the programme will be as good as ever and we win a TRIC Award on Tuesday to prove it!"

Before long, GB News fans flocked to the comments to praise the new look.

"Looks great see you at 06.00 x," one fan penned to Eamonn before a second said: "Looks more professional - big improvement!"

"Looks fresher and more Spacious," added a third while a fourth commented: "Looks great! See you in the morning!"

Elsewhere, a fifth weighed in: "Very contemporary aesthetic setting fresh looks and hopefully you will have a very comfortable seating Eamonn."
