Gary Goldsmith made his debut in the Celebrity Big Brother house last night but it seems he won’t last long on the series.
Just 24 hours after entering the house, Princess Kate’s uncle has already been branded the nations “least favourite” housemate by bookmakers.
According to BetVictor Casino's data from X, Goldsmith has received the highest amount of negative feedback on social media which hasn’t put him in good stead for winning the series.
He is also already at risk of eviction this week after lodger Sharon Osbourne put him in the bottom three, meaning his odds of winning the series sit at a long shot of 14/1.
Sam Boswell, spokesperson of BetVictor, said:“Celebrity Big Brother got off to a fascinating start last night and while it’s still early days, Coronation Street’s Colson Smith is the early favourite to win the series ahead of Bradley Riches, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Levi Roots.
“However, things are not looking so positive for Gary Goldsmith, with Kate Middleton’s uncle appearing to be the UK public’s least favourite housemate already, having racked up the largest amount of negative social sentiment since the series kicked off with a huge 51%.

“To put that into perspective, next in line are Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, both with 14 per cent of negative social sentiment, which indicates how Goldsmith could be fighting an uphill battle in the Celebrity Big Brother house already.”
Within seconds of Goldsmith being on screen with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, he couldn’t resist answering a question about his niece, Kate Middleton.
Odudu asked whether Princess Kate would be watching him, and he vaguely replied: “If she is sitting behind a sofa, yes.
“It’ll be a nice one in a nice house somewhere, I can guarantee that!”

His appearance comes as the Princess of Wales underwent “planned abdominal surgery” in January, leaving many to wonder where she has been and what surgery she's had.
He also admitted in his intro VT that he was entering the house in order to “set the record straight” on his “bad boy” perception in the media.
Goldsmith went on to briefly discuss his relationship with his niece and branded her “the most spectacular person I’ve ever met.”
Many viewers weren’t best pleased with his appearance on the show, leaving recent Big Brother winner Jordan Sangha to admit he thought he was “playing a game”.
