Fred Sirieix and his wife, Fruitcake, appear to have shown their support to embattled TV chef Gino D’Acampo, 48, as he faces multiple claims of "inappropriate" behaviour.
The 53-year-old First Dates presenter regularly appeared with D’Acampo and Gordon Ramsay in their travel series Gordon, Gino and Fred's Road Trip.
Sirieix and D’Acampo were due to reunite on screens once again without Ramsay in Gino and Fred: Emission Impossible which would have seen them travel Europe to find eco-friendly solutions to modern problems.
However, ITV shelved the series along with D’Acampo’s Family Fortunes after claims of “unacceptable and distressing” behaviour, spanning back 12 years, were made against him.
This week, the TV chef also faced claims of making “vile” sexual comments about his Dancing on Ice and former This Morning star Holly Willoughby, who he often appeared alongside. D'Acampo has denied all the allegations against him.
Now, Sirieix has appeared to make his stance on his and his co-star's friendship clear with a gesture of support on social media.

"Always fantastic to meet my fans, you guys are just awesome. Thank you ASDA, for having us,” D’Acampo wrote along with the clip.

Last week, an ITV News investigation uncovered numerous allegations of inappropriate and intimidating behaviour by the Italian TV personality.
The channel have claimed it has evidence that shows at least one production company was aware of multiple complaints towards D’Acampo made by members of their crew.
The 48-year-old has since responded to the claims and told ITV that he "firmly denied" the allegations, adding they were "deeply upsetting".
"I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone,
"This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"I am a father, and husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of,” he continued.
“I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting,” D’Acampo concluded.
