Fred Sirieix reignites Farage feud with scathing rant after return to politics: 'No plan and no substance!'

The pair first locked horns on ITV's I'm A Celebrity last year
First Dates star Fred Sirieix has decided to take aim at new Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, 60, with a scathing social media rant.
Sirieix and Farage are no strangers to airing their differing political views in public after finding themselves at loggerheads during last year's I'm A Celebrity.
The French-born restaurateur branded Farage's Brexit campaigning as "shameful" in just one clash in the camp last year while the Reform leader accused the First Dates star of talking "b*****s" in another EU debate.
Sirieix was booted off the show before his campmate and despite their conversations, he told Ant and Dec that Farage had "not changed my thinking".
The First Dates star even came under fire from Farage's girlfriend Laure Ferrari for his "rude" approach to conversations with the former UKIP leader.
Seven months on from the ITV series, Sirieix has revisited their spat, writing on X on Tuesday about Farage's return to politics: "I spoke at length and extensively with Nigel Farage for 3 weeks while in the jungle.
"I wanted to make my own mind up about him and his views," he continued. "Conclusion is simple.
"He was very good at washing the dishes in the river but when it comes to politics he has no plan and no substance.
"No vision. No concrete policies. He is not interested in making the UK/the world a better place. He just rants."
Sirieix found himself on the receiving end of some rather stern criticism from X users who slammed the 52-year-old for his latest rant and the way he approached discussions with Farage in the jungle.

"You had already made your mind up Fred, before you spoke to him, it was clear - you never let him answer," one fan reminded the star.
A second also said: "You hated him and that was it!! Your attitude was contemptible.."
Meanwhile, a third mocked: "He beat you and came third, at least we know who’s more popular with the public."
And a fourth weighed in: "You are entitled to your opinion but I watched Nigel bring order to the camp when at times it became disorderly.
"It’s rather condescending to suggest he was only good at washing up. You were the third contestant voted off? Like so many of you still bitter over Brexit."
However, Sirieix did receive some plaudits from his followers, including one who replied: "Well said."

Farage sent shockwaves through Westminster earlier this week when he announced he'd be entering the election race as the new leader of Reform UK.
He launched his campaign in Clacton on Tuesday as hundreds flocked to the streets to listen to his message.
However, the campaign launch was marred by the fact a woman decided to throw a milkshake over him.
Essex Police confirmed a 25-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault.
