News channels around the world have been rolling out discussions on what will happen during the next steps of the election as the votes continue to be counted - although Trump has already declared victory.
Channel 4 hosts Maitlis and Guru-Murthy were joined by the likes of Boris Johnson, Stormy Daniels and Sean Spicer to discuss the election.
During one of their discussions, it didn’t take long for Maitlis to slip a swear word in here and there, especially when talking about Trump.
Touching on the controversy when Trump claimed that immigrants were stealing people's pets and eating them, Maitlis pointed out: “It's not that they disagree about one thing.

REUTERS“The whole thing is asymmetric. When Donald Trump talked about eating cats and dogs. Half of America was thinking, 'This is bats**t. I can't believe what he's saying. This is going to be the end of him'."
Guests Joe Walsh and Carol Mosley Braun looked shocked before Guru-Murthy stepped and slammed Maitlis: "Stop swearing.
“I have to tell [the guests] off for swearing and then you do it," he added before she quickly apologised for her blunder.
Later in the show, Maitlis left for another work project, leaving Guru-Murthy to note: “I’ll tell Emily off later because I know she started the swearing.

“It may be the middle of the night in Britain but they’re still a little bit sensitive about that stuff.”
Maitlis’ behaviour has been slammed by viewers, with one X user noting: “If @Ofcom doesn’t sanction Channel 4 for the behaviour of Emily Maitlis tonight then what on earth will they sanction them for?”
One viewer asked what had happened, leaving another to simply reply: “She's been a disgrace.”
A third expressed: “Really needs to humble herself, it’s been disgusting. Maybe eat some of that humble pie.”
Someone else asked: “If OFCOM doesn't sanction them then why do they even exist.”
However, one person backed Maitlis and said: “She literally just said he was ‘bats**t’. That's mental. I guess that's why she left the BBC so she didn't have to hide her bias.” (sic)

Elsewhere in their discussion, Maitlis got into a heated discussion with Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
Spicer began: “One party has made a very clear decision to block multiple people from being on the ballot this year... A Democratic Party under the Biden and Harris regime."
When Maitlis interrupted, he quickly hit back: “That wasn’t the question. The question he asked was will I suggest that Donald Trump should accept it because everyone...”
However, Maitlis seemed to have enough of his views and attempted to move on to their other guests, but Spicer wasn’t finished.
Spicer raged: “What did I say that is not true Emily? Because actually every single thing that I said, I can back up. So, since you brought it up, what was I wrong on?
“They kicked him off the ballot and then he went to court and got put back on so you’re lying. You made a statement, accused me of making a false statement and it was actually that just lied to the viewers here?
“She did, she said I misled people. It was the Democratic Party...”
Guru-Murthy attempted to calm their heated discussion and acknowledged: “Ultimately the systems work and people are on the ballot, so answer the question, if he denies the election result as before, are you going to tell him he has to accept it?”
Spicer admitted: “I believe we are going to have a great night tonight so I don’t think this is going to be a factor but I think if we have a fair election tonight.
“So far it looks, aside from some of the shenanigans that are happening in Pennsylvania and a couple of other places.”
