Elon Musk's father, Errol, has waded in on his son's comment towards US singer Taylor Swift after he claimed he would "give you a child" - before being branded "creepy" and "weird".
Swift took to her Instagram at the beginning of the month and penned a lengthy statement as to why she would be voting for Kamala Harris in this year's presidential election.
After Harris and Donald Trump faced off in the live debate, Swift penned on her Instagram: "Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most.
"As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country. I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election.
"I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.
"I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades."

Swift signed off by urging her followers to "do their own research" and implored them to register: "With love and hope, Taylor Swift. Childless Cat Lady."
The statement garnered the attention of X owner Musk, who mocked: "Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life."
Many fans of Swift's were quick to brand the Tesla founder "creepy", however, it seems his father is all for the comments which were made as he claimed she was "fair game".
Musk's father joined Andrew Eborn on The Muckrakers on Octopus TV where the host asked: "Taylor Swift who came about the pet that she wouldn't want to be eaten, about the single woman.

"She posted about this coming out in support of Kamala Harris, to which the wonderful Elon said, well look I'll give you a child and I'll look after your cat. Errol, do you fancy a new grandchild?"
Laughing at his comment, Musk replied: "Oh yes. Taylor Swift is a very very beautiful girl, I mean let's be honest here you know, she's fair game because of the simple fact that she is out there.
"She is a singer, she makes herself seen in beautiful costumes, she is not some prude that you have to be worried about in that respect. She is fair game and I agree with Elon, I think any man would love her to have his child and so, she is gorgeous so let's be honest, she is brilliant."
Continuing the conversation about having another grandchild, Eborn stated: "So you are looking forward to having her as a new daughter-in-law, and possibly the mother of your next grandchild?"

Musk quipped back: "Well, yeah. I mean it's common sense, it is hardly rocket science that she is an attractive girl. I mean she is very attractive and by making the comment 'I'm childless, I have got a cat' on top of who she really is, she is inviting comments to be made, that is an invitation.
"A person like her, she is right up there on the stage, to be able to say that she is inviting men to be able to say oh I'll jump in there if you want, I'll provide, I'll look after your cats, it's not complicated."
