Ekin-Su’s Culculoglu’s family have pleaded with Celebrity Big Brother fans to stop the “trolling” after having to read “physical abuse threats” towards her on social media.
During last night’s episode, many claimed that Culculoglu was “narcissistic” after throwing a strop because she was nominated by Bradley Riches, Fern Britton, Marisha Wallace and Zeze Millz.
The former Love Island star claimed the four housemates were all “f***ing fake” for nominating her – despite doing the same and nominating her close friend in the house Louis Walsh.
Fans slammed the star on their social media accounts, but her family has spoken out today asking for people to stop.
A statement posted on X read: “Last night was a really sad episode to watch. Ekin-Su has always cared and worn her heart on her sleeve and last night we saw that.
“What made last night a thousand times harder though is seeing and listening to hateful comments, trolling, name calling and physical abuse threats. Nobody deserves this behaviour and to read some of what we did last night.

“@bbuk is a reality entertainment show that is edited to entertain us as viewers. We see an hour of 24 hours each day and the show is a social experiment that has been known to heighten emotions.
“We would like to thank those of you that have supported Ekin-Su. The love and kind words haven't gone unnoticed! Please remember, in a world where you can be anything, be kind. Love always, Team Ekin-Su x”.
Many fans agreed with the statement as one replied: “This is so sad. ITV will pay for the way they're making Ekin-Su look and the way late and live is allowed to speak on her and not shut down the bullying and hate she’s receiving.”
“Supporting Ekin always, the most beautiful person,” another added before a third quipped: “Hope she has lots of support and better guidance from her team when she gets out.”

Another said: “It is most important to call out any form of abuse. Well done for doing so and I hope that Ekin-Su will be more successful than she is already and will also be stronger than ever!” (sic)
Whilst Culculoglu was slammed for her opinions, Britton was supported by viewers for the way she spoke to the 29-year-old and many fans have now claimed she is "their winner".
Britton explained to the Love Island winner: “This is because we are talking about playing the game. I have asked you plenty of questions, but sometimes, well a lot of the time the answer hasn’t’ been… particularly enlightening and you’re right, I don’t know much about you.
“So I don’t get you, you don’t get me, that’s fine. That is the way it is. I sometimes think you are wearing a mask and I think that you might absorb a lot of people's personalities very quickly.

“And you’re good at judging situations. It’s mean, but I feel the danger, and I feel that I don’t know the real you and that, that has disappointed me and disturbed me.”
Wallace explained the reason she was voting for the former Traitors USA star was because she knew she wouldn’t stand a chance against her in the final.
This angered Culculoglu and led to her lashing out: “That’s not a reason. I knew this was gonna happen. Just judging me cos I went on a f***ing show before.
“You’ve been close with me this whole time so you’ve been fake to me this whole time.”
