Eamonn Holmes has explained why he'd never take on the glitz and glam of Strictly Come Dancing during Wednesday's Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel.
The latest series of the BBC dance competition is now in full swing and hasn't been short of talking points but if bosses are hoping to sign up Eamonn for 2024 it sounds like they'll be out of luck.
Eamonn explained why he'd turn down the chance to take part when he, Isabel and GB News guests Candice Holdsworth and Scarlett Mccguire were discussing the latest damning report about the RAF Red Arrows.
Isabel began the discussion by saying the report show the "ugly underbelly" of the much-loved spectacle after it emerged there was a toxic culture towards women within the organisation.
Mccguire branded them as "ghastly alpha males who, as the report says, treat women as their property" as the panel shared their thoughts on the report's findings.
Turning his attention to his own experience with the Red Arrows over the years, Eamonn weighed in: "Interesting, we talk about AI, they are the closest we will get to AI.

"You need a computer flying those planes and I've met a number of Red Arrows in my time, and they're not the most scintillating conversationalists.
"But obviously at what they do, they're superb but they act like computers and machines like that and a lot of women find that attractive."
"Oh, they do!" Holdsworth replied. "I mean, how many women love the Top Gun films? But not just the men in it but they'd also like to do that. So it's important that the culture is welcoming to women."
When Eamonn mused about whether or not he could ever step behind the yoke of a plane, he revealed he'd likely be ill-equipped for the same reason he'd turn down Strictly.
"I couldn't do it!" Eamonn explained. "It's like Strictly, I couldn't do Strictly because I haven't got that brain that goes, 'One, two, three, one, two, three...' I don't know what that means."
Isabel then tested Eamonn's coordination as she asked him to pat his head while stroking his stomach at the same time, to which Eamonn obliged but failed to live up to his co-host's standards as the panel shared a laugh.
While Eamonn hasn't taken part in Strictly before, his wife Ruth Langsford teamed up with Anton du Beke when she participated back in 2017.
And Ruth told Digital Spy in 2017 ahead of her own stint Eamonn had indeed been asked before but had decided to snub the idea: "(Eamonn has) been approached before, yes.

"He's not saying he'll never do it, but he's had two new hips last year. It's a little early days, yet, but we enjoyed the rumour. We enjoyed adding fuel to the fire."
Instead, it was 15 other famous faces who were unveiled as this year's Strictly cast earlier this year who've since been whittled down to just nine.
Les Dennis, Nikita Kanda, Jody Cundy, Eddie Kadi, and Zara McDermott were all eliminated from the competition while Sherlock actor Amanda Abbington withdrew from the contest for "personal reasons".
