GB News host Eamonn Holmes has revealed the "one regret" he had while pursuing a television career in America, as he discussed almost moving to America full-time.
Speaking on GB News Breakfast with cohost Anne Diamond, the former This Morning anchor recalled being offered "two jobs" by television executives across the pond.
When asked by Anne if he ever "flirted with the idea" of moving his career to America, Eamonn confirmed: "I have, twice it happened to me.
"Once I was offered in Canada the job of a weatherman."

Discussing why he turned down the weatherman offer, Eamonn explained: "I was offered that, and I just sort of thought what is the point if your mother or your father would never see you on TV?
"What's the point of doing it if nobody knows you on it?"
Anne was surprised by Eamonn's revelation, asking: "Big money, though, even for a weatherman?"
Eamonn responded: "It was - it was more than a weather job, but I said no basically."

Recalling his second US career offer, which he accepted, Eamonn told Anne and GB News viewers how he almost became a regular gameshow host for Fox.

Eamonn revealed: "I went and I did this quiz show for Fox TV. They said we want the Irish guy that does the lottery - I think they meant Dermot O'Leary or something.
"They called me and I couldn't believe it, and I went over to do a daytime version of it. And then three days into it, they changed everything and they said, this is so good, we're putting this out in the evening."
Recalling how he'd told his wife they would need to move to the US, Eamonn continued: "I remember phoning my wife and saying, we're going to have to move out to California, they really want me here.
"And I'm going down that street with all the palm trees. That's the way I was going to work in this limo, and I had a bungalow there and a golf cart - it was absolutely incredible."

Detailing how the job fell through, Eamonn then said he had "one regret" about how he dealt with the aftermath of being dropped from the show.
Eamonn told GB News: "I really have one regret in my life, that I didn't punch a guy when I was out there. If I had my life to live again, I would have really satisfyingly been sacked for punching this git.
"One episode of the show went out and it came fourth in its rating, so it was behind Lost, The Biggest Loser, and that was it, it disappeared. 36 shows or so disappeared, never to be shown again."
After leaving America, Eamonn said only "one person" responded to his email to the company saying goodbye to everyone, to which Anne admitted: "That's brutal! It was like you got a disease and no one wanted to catch it."
