Eamonn Holmes has launched a scathing swipe at former This Morning colleague Phillip Schofield, following the latest revelation surrounding his unearthed affair with a show runner.
The 61-year-old ex-ITV employee left the broadcaster last year after admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague.
In the latest claim made about the affair, it has been reported that Schofield and his former lover have signed a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to prevent them ever talking publicly about their affair.
It is also claimed that the payment made to the colleague by Schofield amounted to a six-figure sum.

A source has told the Daily Mail: "It means that Phil knows that his young ex will not ever be able to speak about their relationships so he can probably sleep a lot better at night now.
"He has lost a lot but imagine if the full details came out, it would be pretty cataclysmic for him."
Reacting to the reports, former colleague of Schofield and GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes mocked the disgraced ITV star, asking: "If he didn't do anything wrong, why would he pay a six figure sum?"
Eamonn stated: "It could be anything between £100,000 to £999,000."

LASTEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Commentator Dawn Neesom responded to Eamonn's swipe, explaining: "Well this is obviously to try and make the story go away - I mean the story had gone away to a certain extent.
"It's come out now with the revelation over the weekend that a non disclosure agreement was signed by both Phillip Schofield and person X, as we are calling Schofield's young friend. Basically it was to cover the legal costs and to not talk about it anymore."
Eamonn hit back at the reports and joked: "So there we are, everybody's banned from talking about it."
GB News has reached out to Schofield's representatives for comment.

Last June, the former presenter, who was the face of This Morning for more than 20 years, gave a candid interview to the BBC about the scandal.
He told Amol Rajan at the time: "The first thing I want to say is I am deeply sorry for having lied to them, and to many others about a relationship that I had with someone working on This Morning.
"I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning."
Schofield confirmed: "That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over."
