The guitarist has assured fans he's fully recovered and "ready to rock"

Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder has made a full recovery after a medical emergency forced him offstage during a performance on the Rock Legends Cruise last week.

The 77-year-old musician was rushed from the stage mid-set after losing his balance whilst performing.

Felder has since posted a video message to fans confirming he is "back 100 percent" following treatment for dehydration at the cruise ship's medical facility.

The guitarist, known for co-writing the Eagles' hit Hotel California, received immediate medical attention after the incident and was given intravenous fluids.

Event organisers are now working to reschedule his remaining cruise performances to ensure he has adequate time to recover fully.

The incident occurred as Felder was about to perform Tequila Sunrise during his set on the Rock Legends Cruise.

Witnesses saw the guitarist lose his balance moments after telling a joke about drinking with Jose Cuervo.

A crew member quickly rushed to Felder's aid, helping him off the stage as concerned bandmates followed.

The audience showed their support with loud applause as he was escorted away, with some fans shouting: "We love you Don!"

A statement later appeared on Felder's Instagram stories, thanking fans for their concern and confirming he "was given fluids, and is feeling much better."

The cruise organisers emphasised the importance of staying hydrated, reminding attendees to "drink your water!"

In a video posted to Facebook, Felder appeared in good spirits, wearing a black shirt and leather jacket at what looked to be an indoor concert venue.

"Hey guys, I just wanted to tell you all I am back 100 percent. I had a wonderful time down in the little medical facility getting an I.V. last night," Felder said. "I feel fantastic, so I appreciate all your concern, but I am back and ready to rock."

His manager, Charlie Brusco, told Fox News Digital: "Don experienced a medical episode last night during the show. He received medical attention and was deemed to be suffering from dehydration."

The manager added that Felder would need to remain in quarantine for 24 hours to rest, with arrangements being made for him to perform on Saturday and Sunday.

Felder was a key member of the Eagles from 1974 to 2001, during which time the band achieved remarkable success.

As lead guitarist, he was instrumental in writing the melody for "Hotel California", one of the band's most iconic hits.

During his tenure with the Eagles, the group secured six Grammy awards and dominated the charts with five No. 1 singles and six No. 1 albums.
