Dick Strawbridge shares Angel Adoree relationship ultimatum after pair's near-split: 'Find somebody else'
Dick was going to end things at the beginning of their relationship

Dick Strawbridge recently opened up on the ultimatum he was given by wife Angel Adoree in the early stages of their relationship after he tried to end things with her due to being long distance.
The couple met back in 2010 through a shared agent and friend, Sophie Laurimore, at a party and hit it off fairly quickly, sharing interests in several aspects of their lives.
Adoree, 46, lived in London at the time whilst Strawbridge, 64, was in Cornwall, with the distance becoming a bit too much for the former army officer who suggested they call time on their romance.
After insisting Adoree find someone else to marry and have children with, the 46-year-old had already made her mind up that Strawbridge was the one she was going to marry.
"My children were all grown-up and the sensible thing would have been for her to find somebody else, but she said she wanted me," Dick told The Times.
"That was the acknowledgment we were going to have a family. And soon. Angela gave me a calendar with 'Impregnate me by this date' written on it.
The couple met back in 2010 through a mutual friend
"[And] being efficient as we are, we were seven months ahead of our target having Arthur and Dorothy."
The couple then moved to France with their children - Arthur, 11, and Dorothy, 10 - and began to renovate, leading to the inception of their Channel 4 series, Escape to the Chateau.
Beloved fans of the couple tuned in weekly to be updated on the overhaul, as well as watch the family go through life and face the challenges it threw at them.
The show lasted for nine seasons before it came to an end on October 30, 2022, with Channel 4 later admitting that they had decided to part ways with the couple "following a review" after years of working together.
The couple got married in 2015
Reports suggested that Adoree and Strawbridge had "bullied" producers whilst filming, but the pair refuted the claims and insisted there are "two sides to every story".
A leaked audio clip was later released and saw Adoree reportedly launch a "foul-mouthed rant", something she recently defended and added the person in question was an "a**e!"
Adoree could be heard fuming: "Who is that inspired by when you’re f***ing working at the chateau? Just tell me that and then you can f***ing leave – and this is me f***ing angry because I think you’re a f***ed up little c***."
During a recent episode of their podcast - Dick & Angel's Chat-eu - the couple discussed the incident with Adoree admitting: "That one was completely true.

Despite cutting ties with Channel 4, the couple's latest series Secret France with Dick & Angel dropped on June 2 and sees the couple visit some of the lesser-seen parts of France and explore areas of the country few tourists visit.
