David Hasselhoff has issued a statement following the death of his ex-wife Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, who was found dead at her Los Angeles home on Wednesday night.
The 62-year-old actress, who appeared in Baywatch alongside Hasselhoff, reportedly died by suicide.
"Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff," the actor shared on social media.
"We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."
No suicide note was found at the scene, according to reports.
Family members had raised concerns after not hearing from Bach-Hasselhoff for several days, prompting them to contact authorities.

Emergency services were dispatched to her Hollywood Hills home around 10pm on Wednesday following a report of an unconscious female.
Paramedics found Bach-Hasselhoff deceased at the scene.
Her daughter Hayley, 32, was reportedly seen "yelling, crying and screaming" near her mother's house following the discovery.
Authorities confirmed to the Los Angeles medical examiner's office that Bach-Hasselhoff died on Wednesday, though the official cause of death remains under investigation.

Poignantly, Bach-Hasselhoff had left a comment on her daughter Hayley's Instagram just hours before her body was found.
Bach-Hasselhoff had a notable acting career spanning several decades in television and film.
She made her debut movie appearance in Francis Ford Coppola's Rumble Fish in 1983.
She played café owner Kaye Morgan in Baywatch for 10 years, appearing in 14 episodes between 1991 and 2000.
Her television credits also included appearances in popular 1980s and 1990s shows such as Knight Rider, The Young and the Restless, T.J. Hooker, The Fall Guy, Cheers and Sirens.
In 2011, Bach-Hasselhoff competed on Celebrity Big Brother 8 in the UK.
Bach-Hasselhoff met Hasselhoff on the set of Knight Rider in 1985, and they married in December 1989.
The couple had two daughters together: Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32.
After 17 years of marriage, Hasselhoff filed for divorce in January 2006, which was finalised in August that year.
Their divorce was described as contentious, with arguments about spousal support continuing until 2017.
Bach-Hasselhoff is survived by her two daughters and a granddaughter named London.

Hasselhoff has since remarried, marrying model Hayley Roberts in 2018.
