Clarkson's Farm fans have been given a new update about when they can expect the upcoming third run of the record-breaking Amazon series will arrive on screens.
It will be exactly a year next month since the second season of the Jeremy Clarkson's farming series arrived and fans are eagerly awaiting the new batch of episodes.
However, given the gap between seasons one and two was over 18 months - the show debuted in June 2021 - a bit of a wait was always to be expected.
And the episodes can't come soon enough given the amount of drama Clarkson and his Diddly Squat family have endured since the last series aired.
Kaleb Cooper has teased his "biggest ever falling out" with Clarkson in the new episodes while the former Top Gear host has had to deal with fresh spats with the council, the death of beloved animals, the "heartbreaking" possibility of selling up for good and, most recently, a temporary closure of the farm shop until March.
So as fans begged for answers about when they could see the latest goings-on at Diddly Squat unfold on-screen, Clarkson's partner Lisa Hogan was happy to oblige following a recent social media post.
Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper will be back for season 3
AMAZONThe Clarkson's Farm star took to Instagram to share an adorable video of her pet fox-red Labradors playing on one of the farm's small tractors.
"Team Diddly dogs at the ready," Hogan penned followed by the hashtags: "#diddlysquatfarmshop #tractorpulling #tractortrailer #cotswolds #clarksonsfarm #farminglife #dogsofinstagram."
While the post prompted floods of fans' comments about how cute and grown-up Clarkson's pets looked, some wanted answers.
One Clarkson's Farm fan asked outright in the comments: "When does season 3 start Jeremy? X."
Not shying away from the probe, the Diddly Squat Instagram account teased: "Not too long now."
The news went down well with dozens of eagle-eyed fans who spotted the remarks in the comments and "liked" the comment.
"Can’t wait for the next season xx," another fan penned while a second said: "Hope to see the girls in (the) upcoming season."
While Diddly Squat's release date update didn't provide a specific day, fans will undoubtedly be buoyed by the fact it sounds like the wait may almost be over.

AMAZONLuckily for Clarkson's Farm fans, season three won't be the last either.
Clarkson shared an "important announcement" about the show's future back in November in which he confirmed season four had already been greenlit.
The news was a huge boost to a fandom who'd feared Amazon would cut ties with Clarkson following his now-famous Meghan Markle column last year.
While the future for Clarkson's Farm is bright, Clarkson did deliver the sad news that he, James May and Richard Hammond wouldn't be filming any more Grand Tour specials.
