TV presenter Chris Taylor, 34, has revealed past experience which may give him the edge over his competition ahead of the new series of Dancing on Ice.
The 34-year-old is famed for appearing on the fifth series of Love Island in 2019 and appearing on the spin-off Love Island: All Stars last year.
Taylor will dance with German figure skater Vanessa Bauer, 28, on the new series.
“I’m a little bit of a showman so I’m looking forward to being in an environment where I’m performing but having honed a skill whilst doing it,” he explained, tell ITV what he was looking forward to about the show.
He continued: “Putting the work in to do it all and then showing everyone what I’ve learnt is exciting.”

“Let's try something that is the polar opposite of dating to see if I can have some success with that. It appears to be more dangerous than dating but who knows, I could be good at it if I put my mind to it,” he said.
Regarding the danger of the competition, Taylor admitted he was uneasy about the risks of ice skating.
“I’m nervous about dancing with razor blades on my feet and potentially getting injured. I’ve hurt my elbows skating before and was in pain for quite a while so that scares me,” the 34-year-old conceded.
He continued: “I don't want an injury to hinder my experience, I don’t want to have a Gemma Collins moment.”
