Celebrity Big Brother fans turned on Levi Roots during tonight’s episode and claimed he was putting on a “phony act” as he broke down giving his nominations.
On Wednesday night, Sharon Osbourne – the lodger – decided to nominate Gary Goldsmith for the first public vote and put him in danger of being the first to be eliminated.
As the housemates sat around in the living room, one by one they made their way to the diary room to put two of their co-stars up for nomination.
Roots was third to go into the diary room and decided to nominate Zeze Mills and David Potts, but when he was discussing his reasons why, he broke down in tears.
Whilst some fans felt sorry for Roots, many seemed to see through his crocodile tears and claimed he was playing a game.
Taking to their X accounts, one joked: “If I was in there for 3 days and had to nominate I’d seal mine with a kiss and not be crying about it.”

“Everyone needs to fix up … why are you crying?????” another fumed before a third added: “Why’s Levi crying please?”
“Levi Roots another one putting the phoney act on,” one quipped as a fifth echoed: “Why’s he crying? This ain’t the Hunger Games they not gonna die.”
Many others claimed that he “knew the game” before he went in there and branded his act “pathic” and “phoney.” (sic)
Roots received two nominations, one from Potts and one from Fern Britton, but it is Goldsmith and Lauren Simon who will face the public vote.

As the results were revealed, Goldsmith immediately walked over to Simon and gave her a cuddle before she turned to Osbourne and quipped: “P***ed a couple of people off.”
Osbourne immediately hit back: “For what? You haven’t done anything,” leaving Simon to defend: “I have heard it, taken it on board, I am not going to change, I am what I am.”
Ekin-Su Culculoglu jumped in and supported her: “This is when the game starts so be careful…”
Feeling overwhelmed, Simon began crying and expressed: “I am not ready to go yet,” leaving Osbourne to quip: “Don’t you dare!”

Simon was voted by Bradley Riches, Goldsmith, Marisha Wallace, Colson Smith, Nikita Kuzmin, and Zeze Mills.
The first celebrity will be evicted from the house tomorrow night and discuss their time in the house with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
