Carol Vorderman has been tipped to land her next job as a presenter on a rival station to the BBC, GB News has exclusively learned.
The former Countdown star said in a statement that she had "now breached the new guidelines" set out by the Beeb regarding its talents' use of social media "and BBC Wales management have decided I must leave" last week.
Vorderman is no stranger to publicly criticising the government and members of the Tory party, something she brought up in her exit statement as she mentioned: "My decision has been to continue to criticise the current UK Government for what it has done to the country which I love – and I’m not prepared to stop. I was brought up to fight for what I believe in, and I will carry on."
Her sacking from the Beeb has led to a number of mixed reactions from fellow famous figures, including a brilliant dig from GB News' own Alastair Stewart, and Stephen Dixon - who let loose with a passionate take live on air.
Vorderman has since thanked fans for their support but is yet to announce her next work project.
According to new data, GB News has learned that Vorderman may return to the airwaves but this time around as a permanent host on LBC.
GB News heard from Lee Astley, Head of News for BettingSites.co.uk, who shared his thoughts on the possible next steps for Carol Vorderman.
He said: "After recently losing her BBC radio broadcasting gig for posting her strong political views on social media, Carol Vorderman is being tipped to lean into her outspoken nature and join Britain's biggest talk station, LBC."

There are other options too, with Astley acknowledging: "With the successful reboot of Big Brother, there are rumours of Celebrity Big Brother returning to our screens. Vorderman would be a prime candidate to enter the house, with her current controversies providing plenty of 'fly on the wall' gossip.
"Just behind a 'stint on Celebrity Big Brother' is a part-time presenter role on This Morning. Vorderman has worked on the show before the departures of Holly (Willoughby) and Phillip (Schofield) , and with current presenters ready to fill the duo's shoes, Carol could be in the running for a part-time presenter role."
Vorderman is currently priced at 2/1 to land the role on LBC while a potential Celebrity Big Brother stint fetches odds much further out at 5/1.
She's also 5/1 to host her own political TV show while a This Morning gig is priced at 7/1.
Becoming a regular presenter on Loose Women is also a possibility at 9/1, while she's 20/1 to give up broadcasting altogether.
Vorderman has presented on LBC before but with her work diary suddenly freed up, bosses may be lining up a permanent role if the odds are anything to go by.

Should the career switch come to fruition, it'd be something a number of Vorderman's fans have already pre-empted.
After she shared the news of her BBC exit on X, formerly Twitter, one fan said in response: "Wonder if @LBC will take you into the fold, you’d be brilliant on there."
While a second asked outright: "When do you start your show @LBC or @TimesRadio?"
"Surely LBC has a slot for you?" another pondered once Vorderman had confirmed her deparature.
