Viewers were shocked as Alan Sugar seemed to make show history

The Apprentice continued on Thursday, with one decision by Alan Sugar labelled "savage" as he wasted no time in firing the latest candidate.

Usually, Sugar's signature move in the boardroom is to go back and forth with his options about who to eliminate from the process as he mulls over the decision, but the latest episode, which aired on February 20, the business tycoon made up his mind in an instant.

Fans called it the "quickest firing ever" as Nadia Suliaman was fired from the competition.

During the task, the two teams were told to create a dish they could sell to the public and deliver a corporate order and sell to trade.

Suliaman immediately sparked concerns from her team as she ignored their suggestions and opted for bangers and mash as the main dish.

The process was also disastrous, with Sugar's aide Karren Brady having to alert the team in the kitchen that "something's burning".

There was also chaos within the team as they struggled to work together, with many of them noting how Suliaman had been making all the decisions without consulting the team.

During the boardroom chat, Brady revealed the team lost a total of £73.40, meaning their team had lost and someone would be fired.

The hair and beauty salon owner decided to bring teammates Keir Shave and Dr. Jana Denzel back to battle it out in front of Sugar to keep their place in the process.

The business magnate wasted no time though as he admitted: "Nadia, we can't find any other reason for the failure of this task other than your decision that you made for bangers and mash.

"It’s as simple as that. The amount of money paid for sausages, five hundred odd pounds, really killed this task.

"So Nadia, you’ve left me nowhere to go unfortunately, you’re fired."

Taking to social media, fans were quick to point out how it seemed show history had been made with the super quick firing.

Many labelled the way in which Sugar made such a speedy decision "savage" despite agreeing with his decision.

Taking to X, one penned: "Well that was obvious and the quickest firing I’ve ever seen! I knew it! Lord Sugar doesn’t mess about. This show never fails to disappoint. #TheApprentice."

"That was such a savage decision, but the right one #TheApprentice," a second admitted.

A sixth wrote: "The most obvious firing. It’s hilarious how delusional she is. So glad he actually didn’t waste any time with that and give her a chance to waffle #TheApprentice." (sic)
