Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice could face further claims about his conduct following Amanda Abbington’s bombshell accusations.
Pernice, 33, came under fire late last year after Sherlock star Abbington, 52, quit the series and later opened up about being diagnosed with PTSD following the experience as she requested behind-the-scenes footage of rehearsals from the BBC.
The broadcaster was reportedly “puzzled” by the request, which seemingly came as part of her seeking legal advice.
However, the situation has reportedly escalated as two more of the dancer’s former partners, Laura Whitmore and Ranvir Singh, have reportedly joined forces with Abbington to make a joint complaint to the BBC.
The stars have supposedly reached out to each other on social media and gathered last week, with “tears being shed” over their “difficult experiences”.
Good Morning Britain presenter Singh, 46, had complained about Pernice on the 2020 show, while Whitmore’s experience with him in 2016 left her “crying every day”.

A source explained: “All three had difficult experiences with Giovanni, who is well known to be intense during training. They met in person to share their experiences.”
Speaking to The Sun, they added: “Their meeting was emotional but heart-warming.
“They now know they are there to support each other after their tough times with Giovanni. Tears were shed."
It was also reported there was a "possibility" the trio could take it further and "formally complain to the BBC".

In January, the broadcaster confirmed it wouldn’t be investigating the claims made against Pernice.
Speaking to The Mirror, a source previously said of Pernice: “Gio finds some of these allegations deeply unfair and offensive.
“He believes he’s done nothing wrong, and simply wants to get the best out of his partners."
It hasn’t yet been confirmed whether Pernice will be back on the show later this year, but a spokesperson told the publication the professional line-up would be available “in due course”.

She became visibly emotional as she reiterated how quickly time goes and urged her followers to tell their loved ones what they mean to them.
She also advised fans to make the most of the people in their lives while they are there.
“Tell the people you love you love them - and that’s really important because they’re gone very quickly,” she added tearfully.
