Singer Beverley Knight has clapped back at Strictly Come Dancing viewers who accused her of "miming" during Sunday's results show.
The 50-year-old took to the Strictly dancefloor to perform I'm On Fire alongside the London Community Gospel Choir.
Pro dancers Katya Jones and Gorka Marquez danced a sultry number to Knight's ballad before the crowd erupted into applause following the routine.
However, while the performance went down a storm in the studio, a number of BBC viewers were less than impressed and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.
Several accused Knight of "lip-syncing" and some even went as far as to brand it a "shame".
Taking to social media, one fan fumed: "Beverley Knight is amazing. Why on earth is she miming on Strictly? #Strictly #beverleyknight."

"#Strictly bad miming by Beverley Knight," a second weighed in, while a third added: "I think she’s miming but what a bloody queen she is!! #Strictly."
Elsewhere, a fourth commented: "With the fabulously authentic dancing, it's always a shame when the singer has to mime #Strictly."
But Knight, clearly irked by the claims, was keen to set the record straight on her performance.
She shared to her X followers: "Hello everyone who was watching #Strictly tonight! In the entirety of my career, I’ve never EVER mimed a note. Not once.
"The slay is real people, note for note," she concluded, prompting floods of support from her fans.
One fan said in response to Knight's post: "Having seen you live so many times, I would've been shocked if you had! You don't need to with that voice.
"Something about the way Strictly is filmed makes everyone look like they're miming & it's not good..." (sic)
While Knight's performance during the results show would've been a highlight to many, a number of BBC viewers found the show marred by the fact the results were leaked online beforehand.

Jody Cundy was the unfortunate celebrity who was sent packing from the contest after losing out in the dance-off to Eddie Kadi.
Cundy had finished Saturday's show at the bottom of the leaderboard with Kadi just a few points ahead in second-bottom place.
The evening belonged to Layton Williams, however, who wowed the audience with his Cha Cha alongside partner Nikita Kuzmin.
The pair impressed so much that Motsi Mabuse awarded them a score of 10 for the routine - the earlier perfect score for a Cha Cha in Strictly history.
