Celebrity MasterChef viewers weren't impressed by reality star Chloe Burrows
Celebrity MasterChef returned on Tuesday for the second round of contestants of the series. Among them was Love Island star Chloe Burrows, 28.
The reality star left BBC viewers gobsmacked by an admission though and many of them questioned how show bosses choose who enters the competition.
Speaking ahead of the challenges, Burrows stated confidently: "If I get past the first day - game on!"
The Love Island favourite went on to admit: "My friends laughed their heads off when I said I was doing MasterChef! I'm just very nervous about this first bit, but after that - see you at the final!"
This week's first episode also saw comedian Eshaan Akbar, Gladiator and Team GB sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, actor Danielle Harold and actor Rochenda Sandall hoping to win a place in this week's quarter-final.
For their first task, the celebrities had 60 minutes to create a dish that celebrated a secret ingredient they had selected from silver domes.
Burrows was the first to select her ingredients but had no idea what food she had selected. "What's that?" She asked, adding: "Is it fish? Or is it steak? Some sort of meat."
Laughing, Torode replied: "Yeah... Very good," to which Burrows pleaded: "What is it?"

"It goes 'quack,'" the chef hinted, and a horrific Burrows exclaimed: "A duck!" As she was attempting to cook the duck, she admitted she hated touching it.
She was also left concerned about cooking safety as she pondered: "What if they [the judges] go home, think they're OK then wake up tomorrow violently unwell because of my cooking? There's a lot at stake here."
Burrows also admitted she agreed to go on the show to "learn to cook". It came as Torode asked: "So, why are you here?"
"Because I want to learn to cook," Burrows admitted, continuing: "I don't want to keep getting take-aways. I like cooking when I have a recipe.
"I like it but I don't have a recipe right now." Wallace quizzed: "So what outcome are you hoping for here?"

Pointing towards the duck in the pan, she replied: "That that's not raw, and that you guys love it."
"My God, Chloe's cooking a duck," Torode quipped, to which she responded: "Check me out!"
Taking to X, not all fans found Burrows amusing as they questioned why she signed up for the show with no cooking experience.
One penned: "#CelebrityMasterChef That Love Island Chloe came to Masterchef to learn to cook! Tough order and wrong show... Does she have any of H's talent?"
"Why are you here? Chloe Burrows, Ex Love Island contestant: 'Because I want to learn to cook'. Right. #CelebrityMasterchef."
"Chloe comes on #celebritymasterchef because she wants to learn how to cook? Really? What's wrong with watching YouTube videos like the rest of us," another penned.
