The racing commentator has shared a new statement weeks after losing his wife and daughters
BBC racing commentator John Hunt has issued a fresh statement following the deaths of his wife Carol and daughters Hannah and Louise in a crossbow attack.
Earlier this month, the three women were found seriously injured at their home in Hertfordshire and tragically died despite the efforts of paramedics.
A manhunt was launched for Kylie Clifford, 26, who was later arrested after being found unconscious in a cemetery.
The Mirror reports he remains in hospital were he has been left paralysed by a self-inflicted wound.
BBC 5 Live racing commentator Hunt is understood to be "very thankful that people are thinking about" him and his third daughter, Amy.
It comes as the racing expert today issued another statement via close friend Mark Chapman, who presents sports on BBC.

Speaking to the BBC, Chapman said his grieving friend had told him: "Every message that’s been sent, every one of those messages feels like a hug."
"As far as what’s happened, it's still beyond belief that this could happen to anyone, a family in the world," Chapman continued.
He concluded: "The message from all of us is when you need us [John], we are here."
A GoFundMe page set up to support the family has now passed its £100,000 target. Chapman remarked that the gesture "shows from the horror of this event, we have seen the other side of human nature – it just reminds us there’s goodness out there in the world."

Clifford was arrested on three counts of murder, with Hertfordshire Police confirming he remains in hospital under arrest but that officers have not yet been able to interview him. His injuries mean he is unlikely to ever walk again, reports The Sun.
In a previous statement, Hunt and his daughter Amy said: "The devastation that we are experiencing cannot be put into words.
“We would like to thank people for their kind messages and for the support we have received in recent days. These have provided great comfort to us for which we are very grateful.
“As you can imagine, this is an extremely difficult time for us, and we need time and space to come to terms with what has happened and start the grieving process.”

"The message was very clear: make the most of every day because you just don't know."
