Helen Skelton struggled to fight back tears as she signed off her final Radio 5 Live show
After just one year as the face of her Sunday morning show on BBC Radio 5 Live, Helen Skelton has announced her departure.
Skelton left her exit open-ended as she admitted it was only "for now" as she aims to spend more time with her children.
The presenter's exit from the BBC is the latest of a long list in recent years which has seen the likes of Ken Bruce, Steve Wright and many more say their goodbyes.
During Skelton's final show, she was joined by fellow 5 Live presenter Steve Crossman and co-host Lloyd Griffith.
SAS: Who Dares Wins star Billy Billingham, former Lioness Faye White, and Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas also joined Skelton for her last show.
As the show edged towards its final few minutes, Crossman admitted he was emotional to see Skelton leave.

She later added: "I’m not all right about it but you know, needs must. The juggle is real.
"An eight-year-old with a sideline needs me," Skelton continued as she put her children's needs first
As she signed off, Skelton said: "That’s it for me on Sundays for now. Thank you for your company over the last year, I’ve loved every minute of our time together on this show.
"Thank you to all of the team, thank you to all of you. Maybe we’ll meet again soon. It’s hard to know what to say without getting emotional."
Crossman quipped: "Can I try and make you emotional, is that okay or not?"
"If you want," Skelton replied to which Crossman commented: "Honestly, it's been so wonderful working with you.
"I know you're gonna be so massively missed. I've loved our handovers and chats in the middle of the show and stuff, it's been absolutely awesome.
