Celebrity MasterChef viewers were shocked to see one star seemingly contradict themselves
On Wednesday evening, Gregg Wallace and John Torode welcomed five new celebrities into the MasterChef kitchen for another round of heats.
Rudimental's Locksmith, drag queen Cheryl Hole, Go Compare singer Wynne Evans, model Sam Fox and singer Jamelia were the five stars hoping to impress Wallace and Torode with their culinary skills.
However, Locksmith - real name Leon Rolle - set the bar relatively low for himself when he told the judges he was a useless cook.
Not only that but when he first approached the bench to see what ingredient he'd be cooking with in the first challenge, he wrongly identified duck breast as beef.
"I've never cooked duck in my life," Locksmith told Wallace and Torode who then probed: "Have you cooked beef?"
"I haven't cooked beef in my life either," he replied as he let out a laugh while Wallace keeled over the counter.
As the timer was set off, Locksmith told the cameras he was "winging it" with his creations before he described a potato masher as "mushy thing".

Locksmith revealed he'd been preparing for his stint in the kitchen by watching his girlfriend cook at home.
The musician ended up serving his pan-fried duck alongside sweet potato mash and broccoli - and he could barely hide his surprise when the judges shared their positive feedback.
"I'm very, very impressed with you duck cookery," Wallace told him before describing the pinkness as "perfect".
Torode then echoed his co-star's praise as he branded the meat as "perfectly" cooked.
Locksmith continued to impress as the show progressed as he delivered another mouth-watering dish with steak as the centerpiece.
The Rudimental DJ managed to progress to the next stage of the contest while Hole was the celeb sent home.
Speaking of his impressive turn in the kitchen, Locksmith said at the end: "I am so gassed. I can’t believe I cooked something like that.
"I came into this competition cool, calm, and collected and I’ve been roped in. I am like I want to do well now."
However, seeing Locksmith perform so well in the kitchen despite a severe lack of cooking experience has led to some fans accusing the show and him of misleading viewers.
Taking to Twitter, one fan raged: "You don't just leap from nearly burning the house down cooking a steak to cooking a perfect steak #CelebrityMasterChef."
