Netflix drama Baby Reindeer has been unveiled as leading the nominations for this year's Bafta TV Awards with an impressive eight nods.

The hit series has earned recognition for its creator and star Richard Gadd, who is nominated for best actor.

Jessica Gunning, who plays stalker Martha, and Nava Mau, who portrays Donny's girlfriend Teri, have both received nominations in the supporting actress category.

The Netflix series, which is based on Gadd's real-life experiences of being stalked, is also nominated in the limited drama category.

The show has been making headlines since its release, with a woman claiming to be the "real" Martha bringing a lawsuit against Netflix.

ITV's Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Disney+'s Rivals and Apple TV+'s Slow Horses each secured six nominations, tying for second place behind Baby Reindeer.
