Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has shared a series of cryptic posts after it was revealed he was expecting his first child.
McPartlin and Armstrong tied the knot back in 2006 and were married for 11 years before they went their separate ways in 2018.
McPartlin is now happily married with his second wife Anne-Marie Corbett, whom he married in 2021, and are expecting their first daughter together – adding to Corbett’s two children from her previous marriage.
The presenter's step-dad, David Woodall, confirmed the couple's happy news and said: “He will make a good dad. He’s good with the girls so he’ll be great. He’s very happy I think. I’m over the moon.”
Armstrong and McPartlin did not have any children together but did share their beloved chocolate Labrador dog, Hurley.
In the days since McPartlin's baby news broke, Armstrong took to her Instagram stories to upload a series of images and quotes.

“No one is you and that is your superpower,” the first post read followed by a pink background with a small heart in the middle.
She went on to post a cute image of Hurley, who she caught gazing at the camera, and in an emotional tribute wrote: “Thank you for being my dog.
“Someone to do life with, and above all, thank you for being my best friend.” (sic)
Hurley was adopted by the pair back in 2013 after reports surfaced that they were struggling to conceive a child together.

Initially, Armstrong agreed to share the dog after their marriage collapsed but she later disputed the arrangement last year, requesting Hurley lived with her full-time.
She reportedly argued that it was only fair she kept Hurley as McPartlin already had two Maltese and Poodle crossbreeds – Milo and Bumble.
At the time, it was said McPartlin refused to give up shared custody, with Hurley spending his time between both houses and the chauffeur being the go-between so the couple didn’t have to see one another.

McPartlin’s colleague and long-term friend Declan Donnelly is said to have known for months – with McPartlin adding to the pair's growing brood.
Donnelly has two children with his wife Ali Astall - Isla and Jack - with Anthony being the latter's middle name in a loving tribute to their friendship.
The pair have yet to address their upcoming parenthood, with McPartlin recently being busy filming the next series of Britain’s Got Talent.
