Angel Adoree and Dick Strawbridge have lifted the lid on why they've been forced to rule out buying a certain kind of farm animal to help them at the chateau.
The husband and wife duo, who've recently been touring across the USA, will soon return home to their French chateau, Château de la Motte-Husson, alongside their children Arthur and Dorothy after bidding farewell to their fans Stateside.
During their tour across the pond, Adoree and Strawbridge were on hand to provide tips and tricks to paying audience members as well as meet and greet their adoring fans after the stage.
As such, several fans came armed with questions for Strawbridge and Adoree - with some even getting in early and sending their queries directly to the duo for their podcast, Dick & Angel's Chat...Eau.
In the pair's latest podcast episode, they read aloud one fan's question about whether or not they'll be buying a horse to help pull the eye-catching carriage made famous in the Channel 4 series, Escape to the Chateau.
But moments after Strawbridge read the question aloud on the podcast, Adoree emphatically replied: "No, no. Absolutely not!"

"We can't buy a horse," her husband replied before Adoree delved into the reasons why: "I'm allergic to horses - there, I've said it out loud!"
Strawbridge explained further why they've had to ban horses at the chateau as he reeled off the adverse effects the animals have on his wife's health.
"It's better than that. Angela goes all runny-eyed and all snotty-nosed whenever she gets close to a horse and horses come up to her on purpose," he began.
"We've been to a couple of little family circuses in France and what happens is; we sit down with the children -"
"They sense that I'm allergic," Adoree cut in before chuckling as Strawbridge continued: "They come along and they sneeze on Angela!
"There's 100 people in a little tent and they come along and sneeze on Angela and see her head blow up. It sort of puffs up to twice the size it already is."
Agreeing with her husband - but feeling he underplayed the repercussions - Adoree replied: "Exactly, you don't really give it the justice it deserves because it's not just a bit of watery eyes, I get hives in my eyes so -"
But Strawbridge hilariously pointed out: "Angela, I just said your head swells up to twice its size. That probably is enough.

"I'm sorry I didn't do justice to the pain you go through. Angela with a big football on her head! That put you in the right frame?"
Adoree began to laugh at her husband before she defiantly told listeners: "So we're not getting a horse at the chateau."
The pair recently wrapped up their US tour in which they entertained crowds everywhere and even made a rare appearance on a local US news station.
However, it hasn't been without its negatives as Escape to the Chateau fans joined forces to defend the pair after a disgruntled social media user questioned their children being out of school.
