Amanda Owen was keen to share a message about the family's latest series

Former Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has shared a series of wholesome snaps of her family on social media - sparking an outpouring of pleas from fans of her latest programme, Our Farm on the Dales.

Many of the demands from fans were in response to the cryptic caption Owen shared alongside a carousel of snaps showing her nine children getting stuck in to help in the idyllic Yorkshire countryside.

She captioned the post: "Don’t miss the boat!!! Launch yourself into our TV series. What……Our Farm Next Door! When…..NOW! Where….CHANNEL 4!

"Don't get the sinking feeling if you’ve missed it as you can catch up anytime on More4,. #ourfarmnextdoor #yorkshire #farm #shepherdess."

The photos depicted some of Owen's younger children crossing a river on the Dales, seemingly having fun as they helped out with the project Owen and her ex-husband Clive, 70, undertook together in the Channel 4 series.

On the same day, the Yorkshire Shepherdess shared another series of images promoting the repeat episode of the series that aired last year.

"All things bright and beautiful on the farm this morning. Sunshine, blue skies and the birds are back," she began.

The caption continued: "The air is once again alive with birdsong. Makes the heart sing to see curlew, oystercatcher, lapwing, redshank and busy little skylarks. Joy, joy, joy.

The posts led to fans begging for a new series of the show, while others were left scratching their heads wondering whether Owen had been promoting future instalments.

"Is it a new series?" one asked in the comments, with another responding: "No it's a repeat."

Another echoed this, asking: "Is there a series 2 if so when?"

A fourth penned: "Is there a second series of our farm next door? I really hope so!"

"Looking forward to the new series to see Anty John’s completed," a different viewer shared.

Someone else complained: "They are repeats making out they [are] new."

Others were happy to be able to catch the repeat episodes though, with one adding: "Even as a repeat it’s a great programme!

"How children used to play many years ago..so sad they are prisoners in their own bedrooms etc these days." (sic)

Recently, fans have been gobsmacked by Owen's social media updates, taking to the comments of her recent posts to express their shock over the Owen children who have all grown up significantly since their Our Yorkshire Farm days.

The series aired from 2018 until 2022, when Amanda and Clive announced their plans to separate.

However, the pair reunited to film the new series, which followed them as they renovated a derelict 1800s farmhouse known as Anty Johns – with the help of their children.

However, viewers were left divided by the series, with some applauding it and others comparing it to the family's original show, which many preferred.

One cruelly labelled the show "dull as dishwater,". However, many were quick to jump to Owen's defence.
