The Yorkshire Shepherdess recently shared her 13-year-old son is now being homeschooled

Amanda Owen has shared a social media update explaining a minor accident on the farm had left her son Sydney, 13, "embarrassed".

Owen recently told fans how the teenager is now being homeschooled in order for the youngster to split his time between working on the farm and doing schoolwork.

Other posts have shown the two working on the farm together, and on Friday The Yorkshire Shepherdess displayed how easily things can go wrong on the farm.

In a video clip, she could be heard asking her son: "Do you know what that is?" as birds chimed ahead.

After Sydney replied "a bird," Owen commented: "I know it's a bird! It's a skylark."

Gazing ahead at the landscape, the 50-year-old continued: "Beautiful day," before describing their recent predicament.

"Now listen, we came here didn't we to get the micro-digger that mother had bogged at the moor and the tracks had fallen off and what did you say?" she probed.

"That we won't be able to get them on," Sydney sheepishly confessed.
