Amanda Owen all smiles as Our Yorkshire Farm star pictured with daughter amid social media silence

So when she announced her farm, Ravenseat, was shutting its doors to the public last month, fans were keen for answers.

Instead, they've been met with radio silence from the mum-of-nine.

However, fans were left overjoyed to see Owen looking happier than ever in a new snap alongside her 22-year-old daughter.

The student shared a selfie with her mum on Instagram to her 40.6k followers and simply captioned the update: "Me and my mum," followed by a love heart emoji.

Also included in the post was a snap of Owen's daughter on horseback taking in the picturesque scenery of the Yorkshire Dales.

After seeing Owen looking well, it didn't take long for fans to react to her daughter's social media update.

One fan pleaded: "Beautiful pic, please ask your mum to start posting again, so miss the farm updates. Xx."

A second praised: "Great pic of the two of you. I miss seeing you both on tv."

Meanwhile, a third weighed in: "Wow, I never noticed you have the same eyes before."

And a fourth complimented the pair: "Lovely photo of you both," followed by love heart emojis.

The 48-year-old shepherdess, on the other hand, hasn't updated her Instagram followers since July 16 and has been silent on Twitter since July 1.

The last she reached out to her fanbase was via her website at the end of July in which she confirmed Ravenseat, which is usually open during the summer to visitors, wouldn't be open this year.

The statement published on her website simply read: "Ravenseat Farm is closed to visitors until further notice...

"So, unfortunately, we are not serving cream teas. Thank you for your understanding. Amanda."

The exact reasons for the closure remain a mystery although it isn't the first time Owen has had to stop members of the public from visiting.

Last year, the family had to cope with the intense demand of lambing season and as such couldn't accommodate visitors.

Whether this is a similar case in 2023 remains to be seen.
