Amanda Owen has been unveiled as the star judge for an exciting new event heading to North Yorkshire.
The Our Yorkshire Farm star will join the panel of the 2024 Harrogate Dog Show and will be using her farming expertise to help crown this year’s perfect pooch.
The event – which takes place this Saturday at Victoria Shopping Centre Piazza in Harrogate – will see a host of obedient and pampered pups waiting in line for a chance at impressing the Channel 5 star.
Each class will be judged by Owen, along with the return of the mini dog park and dog training workshops with Scott Adair
The Harrogate Dog Show’s official Instagram was excited to announce her participation at the show and posted an image of the team.
The accompanying caption read: “DOG SHOW STAR JUDGE ANNOUNCEMENT We're delighted to announce that the Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen will be the star judge for this year's Harrogate Dog Show!
“Well-known for her time on TV shows such as 'Our Yorkshire Farm', Amanda will use her expertise to judge the categories on the day.
“Come down and join in with the fun on Saturday, April 13th from 10am on the Piazza outside the Victoria Shopping Centre!

Her involvement in the dog show comes after she made a surprise appearance on Channel 5’s A Yorkshire Farm alongside Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson last month.
Discussing her love for foraging, Owen took part in a demo with one of the show's guests as she noted: “Well, I'm really excited to learn about foraging because, of course, it's food for free.

"And I'm really fascinated to know what I can find in the woods. What a day, it's beautiful here! I can't believe it. I wore my wellies and my waterproofs!"
He TV appearance and guest role as a judge comes after her Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm came to an end following her split from ex-husband Clive Owen in 2022.
She took a break from her TV appearances and even shut down the website to her farm – Ravenseat – to paying members of the public last summer.
Since her brief return, there has been rumours that Owen is eyeing up a return to Channel 4 screens and is reportedly teaming back up with her ex-husband.
