The Owen family left fans of the Channel 5 series stunned

Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has issued a social media update in which she complained about facing "the same [s***], different company" as she shared a series of snaps with her children.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess took to Instagram with 10 photos of her family, with her nine children looking very grown-up, which distracted her social media followers.

The 50-year-old, who now stars in new family reality show Our Farm Next Door, shared snaps of the farm and her children, who help out with the work.

"Same [s***’] to deal with but different company," she penned in the caption, which continued: "They are absolute rays of sunshine as we go forth headlong into the rain, wind, sleet and snow or whatever life throws in our direction."

The brood have always been hands-on when it comes to helping their parents with the farm, a feature that attracted fans to the Channel 5 show when it first debuted in 2018.

In that time, the nine Owen children have got older, and Amanda's recent post left fans stunned by their transformation.

Taking to the comments, many were quick to point out how different the youngsters looked.

"Oh my goodness I nearly didn’t recognise Edith," one wrote.

"They're growing up so quickly, looking forward to seeing the rest of the series soon," one more added.

"Edith is blossoming into a beautiful young lady," another shared.

The update comes not long after fans were left somewhat disappointed by the new instalment, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids.

The series aired in October, with five episodes showing an ambitious renovation project taken on by the family.

The highly anticipated series followed Amanda and Clive Owen as they renovated a derelict 1800s farmhouse known as Anty Johns – with the help of their children.

While the final episode made it clear there was still work to be done at Anty Johns, Owen has been keen to keep her viewers updated on her social media channels.

However, viewers were left divided by the series, with some applauding it and others comparing it to the family's original show, Our Yorkshire Farm.

One cruelly labelled the show "dull as dishwater,". However, many were quick to jump to Owen's defence.

"Watch something else then, it's not rocket science," one responded.

While many swarmed in on the comment to support the Owens, there were others who agreed with the analysis.

"I agree," another person wrote, while someone else admitted: "I wanted more of the kids! Was looking forward to seeing them and they’re hardly in it at all."

"Not enjoying this as much preferred the last one. I feel its more about Amanda you hardly see any of the farm and the children. Maybe after a few more episodes it will get better," another shared. (sic)
