The Yorkshire Shepherdess shared a peek into her life in the Dales on Tuesday

Amanda Owen's social media followers have encouraged the mum-of-nine to "look after herself" after she reeled off the latest goings-on at her farm in the Yorkshire Dales.

The Our Farm Next Door star is currently gearing up for the latest batch of episodes of her Channel 4 series to air, but that doesn't mean she's taken her foot off the gas at Ravenseat.

While fans await to see how Owen and her ex-husband Clive got on restoring nearby farmhouse Anty John's to its former glory, the Yorkshire Shepherdess published a series of snaps on Instagram to share a glimpse at what else has been happening.

In a carousel of images shared on the social media site, Owen captured a snap of a frost-covered valley in the Dales, a picture of her rams enjoying a meal, and a photo of one of her children getting to grips with one of her sheep.

Elsewhere, Owen herself featured in the collection, gearing up in a pair of overalls in one snap and in another, posing for a selfie with her herd of rams.

In the accompanying caption, Owen shed light on her life in the Dales at the moment, reeling off the long list of tasks on her checklist.

"There’s so much to do and so little time," Owen began to her 534k followers.

She continued: "Dawn ‘til dusk, farming, shepherding, parenting (loosely), fetching, carrying, writing and digging.

"Also now home schooling a certain somebody too. It’s keeping me busy… if not out of mischief."

Owen then signed off the post with the hashtags: "#yorkshire #shepherdess #farm #countryside #work #play #learn." (sic)

Before long, Owen was inundated with supportive messages from fans, with many applauding the former Channel 5 star for her work ethic while others marvelled at the view in the snaps.

However, several also grew concerned with the long list of jobs on the 50-year-old's itinerary, with some fearing she wasn't allocating enough time to self-care in such a demanding role.

"Please look after yourself too Amanda," one fan urged in the comments, followed by a love heart emoji.

Meanwhile, a second echoed: "Take care Amanda try and have a little time for yourself which I’m sure is impossible most of the time."

"Home schooling? That’s tough," a third weighed in before a fourth simply encouraged: "Amanda, take care of yourself too."

Elsewhere, a fifth praised: "Don't underestimate your parenting, you do not appear to be 'loosely' parenting, more like fully immersed and doing a wonderful job raising and teaching all your kids as you do. A lesson in every action it seems to me. You are fab!"

Owen's update comes just days after it was confirmed she had another work project lined up away from the screens.

Next month, the farmer will be lending her talents once more to the judging panel of the Harrogate Dog Show.

On April 12, Owen will join the judging panel to share her verdict on a number of pooches in the local canine-centric extravaganza.

Matthew Chapman, Chief Executive at Harrogate Business Improvement District, said, according to the Harrogate Chamber: “The Harrogate Dog Show is an event that’s growing in popularity year-on-year, with last year’s category spaces selling out super quickly!

“We’re honoured to have the chance to work alongside a nationally renowned star like Amanda and we can’t wait to deliver another successful event for not only our BID Members, but our town as a whole."
