The Owen family returned to screens in new series Our Farm Next door
Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has revealed her co-star and ex-husband Clive Owen has undergone major surgery.
Owen, 50 and her ex-husband, 69, reunited for the new series, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, which follows their attempts to build a legacy for their nine children.
The original Channel 5 series, Our Yorkshire Farm, covered the family’s life on Ravenseat farm, and came to an end in 2022 when Owen and Clive called it quits on their 22-year-long marriage.
The new More4 series sees them rebuilding the neighbouring farmhouse, Anty John’s, to establish a permanent family home.
The adventure has been beset by issues, including “horrific” weather forcing vital construction work to stop.
Now, Owen has revealed her ex-husband recently went under the knife for a serious hip operation.

The surgery was a success, and Clive is now recovering with the family’s help.
However, Owen revleaed the ordeal has “been a nightmare” for her and the nine children she shares with Clive.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, the Yorkshire Shepherdess explained the difficulty of managing kids of multiple ages and her ex-husband as he recuperates.
"I've got children going to school, I've got children studying and children working and then he comes to me and says he's bored," she remarked.

“He's a terrible patient,” she continued, adding: “Everybody's just getting on and stuff's getting done but just not how he would like it.”
"But most of the time we don't care,” she added cheekily.
Clive’s surgery and recovery is the next challenge facing the Owen family as they attempt to turn Anty John’s into a permanent home.
The 50-year-old admitted "It was never going to be simple,” as she reflected on the tricky realities ahead, adding: “I'm not that much of a twit right?”
“Ask me anything about sheep and I'll tell you what I think about them. Ask me anything hill farming, no problem.”
The Yorkshire Shepherdess concluded: “Ask me anything about home renovations, not a clue. This is all about the future. It's a big undertaking."
